”Jane” follows Jane Garcia, a 9-year-old budding environmentalist on a quest to save endangered animals.
Using her powerful imagination, Jane takes her best friends David and Greybeard the chimpanzee on epic adventures to help protect wild animals all around the world because, according to her idol Dr. Jane Goodall: “Only if we understand, will we care. Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help, can they be saved.”

For the Apple Original series "Jane," DaVinci Resolves was pivotal for generating dailies, and Adobe Premiere Pro for scene assemblies, tracking lines and scenes for continuity during principal photography. As the assistant on this show, I created and exported dailies, exported episode cuts at each stage of their refinement, and I also edited a few production trailers too.
This was a CGI/VFX-heavy TV series with complex moving parts behind the scenes. To aid VFX workflows, I also had the privilege - with editor guidance - of creating pre-visualizations for each scene that contained various CGI elements.
